Hotel was quiet. Comfortable beds, perfect after a long day in St Austell. Reception staff was very efficient, would love to return.
Couldn't stay longer.
-
We thought this hotel to be extremely good. The staff very attentive, the decor excellent, the overall cleanliness was excellent. A definite 11/10!!
The golf course is good, but the pro-shop people not helpful in finding me a partner for my game, however, I did manage to link up with a couple of players further on, and enjoyed the match.
-
excelent staff and service and good venue for golfers as well as good location for local attractions such as The Eden Project etc. Also good food and lovely restaurant
-
Superb location with stunning views, excellant facilities and great VFM
-
Beautiful views from the sea-facing rooms; luxurious all-white bathroom where everything worked first time and the light came from large, openable windows; rooms featuring firm, comfortable beds, two armchairs and plenty of drawer and cupboard space; ample if rather repetitious breakfasts; large comfortably furnished lounges and bars; plenty of sporting facilities and free access (even for non-golfers) to an excellent golf clubhouse with views, drinks and light meals, including on the verandah
Not a purpose-built hotel, so it mostly lacks bedroom balconies, air- conditioning, room fridges, and most obviously of all, lifts. There is only one lift, so tiny it cannot accommodate a normal wheelchair or mobility buggy (and it is a bit of a worry to find somewhere to put your chair or buggy overnight). It does not offer free wi-fi, and the signal is poor upst airs. Guests get a bt openzone card for one day, which introduces a problematic extra level of sign-in.

The food was excellent and the sports facilities were good
-
location at the see and nice view from the room
arrogant employees and not very polite, room very small, bad relation between price and offer
-
Quite nice hotel at an absolutely beautiful location with a swimming pool, gym and tennis courts. Several restaurants in the hotel. Large comfortable lounge area.
Last orders in the various restaurants are at about 9pm. Room service also stops serving at about 9pm. No other restaurants near-by. So if you haven't had dinner by 9pm then only option is the local 24-hour Tesco's! (You need a car to get there). Tennis courts are in a bad shape.

We enjoyed the spa and treatments on offer and found the spa manager to be both friendly and skilled at her job. The sea- facing grounds were also pleasant.
We found the restaurant manager unfriendly and the room service to be less than we would have expeccted.
-
Proximity to work location, comfort and facitities and friendlyness of staff
-
The spa facilities and the luxury of the hotel
-
Beautiful yet peaceful location, immaculate hotel, quietly understated but friendly and helpful staff.
The a la carte menu could have been more extensive and changed more frequently.
-
Extremely clean rooms, wonderful location, excellent golf course and spa and surprisingly good food too.
-
Great location, helpful staff, quality building, great dining area. Quite 'old world'
Weather was great, a sunny 26deg but rooms suffer from no ac. Quite stuffy. Would be fine in spring or autumn

The relaxing surroundings with the sea views
